Twitter, what doesn't someone have to say about their use of twitter. Everyone, but me is on twitter until now. I wasn't excited about using twitter in class, because I'm so use to everyone tell me what they are having fun dinner, and what drama they have going on. I'm thought I was just not a Twitter using person. But as I come to learn more about Twitter, and log on sometimes, I find it to be more useful than I thought. Twitter is more than someone posting about going to a party, or what they are eating for dinner, if used the right way you can find interesting ideas. Intelligent people having intelligent conversations, exchanging ideas from across the world.
I never thought that twitter would be something that people use..

It is actually helpful, I have found interesting science documents, and posts about how to motivate students. Its hard to look for things on twitter because you don't want to spend hours searching items, so its nice to just for a second, then quit. If you don't find anything, try again the next day. I also learned something else new, you can search by a hash tag. A hash tag is something that includes a certain topic that you can search more specific. If you want to search for only math teaching posts you can, of something about a specific learning disability. Which is helpful...
Distance Learning, is something I have never experienced. It seems to be a awesome if you need extra help or have a group project. It works in a weird way because that person is not right next to you, and I'm not use to that. I prefer having someone right in front of me because I would think its harder to explain something over the internet than right in person. Distance learning is getting extremely big nowadays, you can go to school online, talk to the ones you love, and even give a demonstration. I personally do not like this idea unless it is used for extra help, but hey who am I to judge.
