Exploring AuthorsSeymour SimonMr. Simon is actually one of my favorite authors of all time. As a child I remember sitting in science class looking over the interesting topics that he covers. Simon is an award winning author for science trade books. He is known for his ability to make science available for students and interesting. His writing is very direct and sensible for anyone to understand the material. Seymour Simon’s books encourage children to enjoy the world around them through learning and discovery, and by making science fun. He has introduced tens of millions of children to a staggering array of subjects; one prominent science education specialist described Simon’s books as "extraordinary examples of expository prose." Simon taught science and creative writing in elementary and secondary schools and was chair of the science department at a junior high school in the New York City public school system before leaving to become a full-time writer. "I haven’t really given up teaching," he says, "and I suppose I never will, not as long as I keep writing and talking to kids around the country and the world."
Through the ages Simon works has stayed consistent with the topics he writes about which is simply science, and the audience has always been for children. I have noticed reading a lot of his books is that he covers a lot of detail. In the Human Body book he describes everything from nerves to ears, and senses to movements. info obtained at Simon's personal website AwardsSeymour Simon has been honored by many awards for his work including:

This is were reviews come into play, if you see 10 bad reviews on a product you want to buy online, then most of the time you pick a different brand.
